EL1 / EL2 Project Managers
Project Managers within the Digital and Service Design branch will be responsible for managing the delivery of one or more projects within the larger Health Digital Transformation program, and support the planning for short, medium and long-term strategies.
Project Managers will initiate the projects, create the required artifacts and governance structures, maintain oversight and lead consultation with key stakeholders concerning policy to support project management and delivery in line with government objectives.

Project Managers will initiate the projects, create the required artifacts and governance structures, maintain oversight and lead consultation with key stakeholders concerning policy to support project management and delivery in line with government objectives.
Duties
- Stakeholder engagement: actively engage and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Project initiation: develop project initiation documents, outlining project objectives, scope and deliverables
- Planning and dependencies: efficiently plan and identify project priorities, dependencies and critical path to ensure smooth project execution
- Project artefacts: develop and maintain essential project artefacts, including a RACI and keep all documentation up to date
- Risk and issue management: actively manage risks, issues and dependencies to mitigate potential challenges throughout the project lifecycle
- General administration – providing general administrative and project support to facilitate seamless project operations.
- Ideal candidates will be established in their field and have knowledge of healthcare systems and the government landscape
- Demonstrated experience in managing digital initiatives and policy implementation using best practice methodologies, will work in collaboration with our delivery partners and stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in successfully managing projects, preferable in a government or similar setting
- Strong ability to organise and prioritise project tasks effectively
- Proficiency in identifying and managing risks and issues that may impact project outcomes
- Excellent skills in creating and maintaining project artifacts and documentation
- Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders and ensure a clear understanding of project objectives and progress
- Applicants must hold Australian citizenship.
