  • 12-month contract with possibility of extension
  • Between $750-$900 per day based upon candidate qualifications, skills and experience
Our Client is a Federal Government body that supports Australians and their families by valuing a positive contemporary attitude to disability. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual for the position of EL2 Targeted Research and Strategic Evaluation (Labour Hire). This role is accountable for undertaking work with a high level of complexity and sensitivity, delivering quality outcomes across key functions.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Manage a multidisciplinary team specializing in robust mixed methods research and evaluations, including inferential statistical analyses.
  • Develop and manage program logic models, theory of change, and evaluation frameworks.
  • Pioneer innovative approaches for utilizing existing and new data to measure outcomes effectively.
  • Establish and manage key strategic relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders to design and deliver evaluation projects.
  • Oversee the preparation of high-quality written evaluation findings, including business cases, reports for various forums, and documentation.
  • Develop, lead, and foster a culture of evaluative thinking, building the capacity of other business units to conduct evaluations.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to deliver impactful Research and Evaluation Strategies.
 The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Experience in either State, federal or consultancy evaluation leadership roles
  • 3+ years’ experience in leading teams in large scale, complex evaluations including state/federal programs.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to work with stakeholders to determine stakeholder needs, program logics and outcomes required.
  • 3+ years in independently designing evaluations and producing evaluation logics that reflect the stakeholders needs.
  • Demonstrates experience delivering end to end formative and impact evaluations which have informed change.
  • Experience in using a range of sophisticated methods including quantitative, qualitative and economic methods.
  • Ability to coach and nurture a team.
  • Excellent presentation and stakeholder skills.
  • Proficient writer who can produce high quality plain English products.
  • A team player who contributes to leading a thriving branch and supports all other areas.
  • Academic or evaluation qualifications
