Job description

Position: HSE Technical Writer 

DFP Perth are seeking an experienced HSE Technical Writer to engage on a temporary contract with our client based in Fremantle.  

Start Date: Immediate – Notice periods considered 

End Date: 22nd of November 2024 – possibility of extension 

Location: Fremantle 

Hours per week: 3 days - 24 hours per week 

Salary: $65 – 70 per hour plus Superannuation 

Duties and Responsibilities: 
Reporting to the Principal Safety Advisor - Projects & Systems, the HSE Technical Writer will lead the consultation, review, and update of Health, Safety & Environment documentation. This role will also assist in the development and implementation of a fit-for-purpose HSE document control system within the governance framework. 

Qualifications and Experience: 
  • HSE qualification and/or relevant experience 
  • Experience in the development and delivery of training (desirable) 
  • Excellent operational, technical, and systems document writing skills 
  • Usability mapping expertise 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills
