About the Client

Our client is a trusted leader in the health and member services sector, known for delivering exceptional support during key operational periods. As part of their commitment to member satisfaction and service excellence, they are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Membership Consultant to assist during the upcoming rate review period.

About the Role

As a Membership Consultant, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient member services. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Processing membership applications, cancellations, cover changes, and related items in a high-volume environment.
  • Adhering to service level agreements, compliance requirements, and upholding the company’s customer promise.
  • Providing call centre support by responding to member enquiries and escalating complex cases as needed.
  • Collaborating with internal teams including Membership Team Leaders, Health Funds, and Contact Centre staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintaining compliance with operational processes and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
This is a 6-month contract role starting 1 October 2025.

About You
We’re looking for someone with:
  • Experience in Private Health Insurance (PHI), including membership or claims processing
  • Background in customer service and administrative support
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving
  • Strong time management and ability to prioritise tasks
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with internal systems or similar operational platforms
