About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Business Support Officer (AO3) to join a State Government team on a temporary assignment. This role will primarily focus on supporting the North Queensland region by assisting with the completion of aged job card follow-ups.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator with strong data entry and analytical skills who thrives in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform accurate data entry of job cards
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in records
  • Analyse, identify and correct data errors
  • Manage high volumes of repetitive tasks with accuracy
  • Apply strong attention to detail in all work activities
  • Learn new systems and processes quickly

Role Requirements
  • Current driver’s licence (mandatory)
  • Strong business administration background with demonstrated attention to detail
  • Ability to manage repetitive, high-volume tasks efficiently
  • Fast learner with strong data accuracy and problem-solving skills

Highly Desirable
  • Previous experience using Ellipse (not essential)
