Job description

DFP Recruitment seeks an experienced Project Director for an initial 6-month contract in Subiaco within the government sector.  This full-time role entails managing complex procurement, commercial, legal, contract, and project services. Responsibilities include providing strategic leadership to the team and advising on project matters.

About the role
• Advise on complex procurement, commercial, legal, and project matters.
• Lead the planning and delivery of the Project.
• Manage procurement strategy and implementation.
• Ensure project compliance with standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and report project progress.

About You
• Experience in leading major health projects, public or private sector.
• Deep understanding of procurement, commercial, legal, and project management.
• Ability to inspire shared purpose and provide strategic direction.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, risk mitigation, and issue management.
• Proficient in project and contract management.
• Skilled in networking, communication, and negotiation.
• Drive a culture of achievement and continuous improvement.
• Uphold department values and commitment to customer service.
