Job description

Our Federal Government Client is seeking candidates for the following positions:

Role (A) APS6 Workforce PKI Engineer Role
(B) APS6 Customer PKI Engineer Role
(C) EL1 Senior Workforce PKI Engineer Role
(D) EL1 Senior Customer PKI Engineer

This is a long-term contract role with an initial contract duration of 12 months, located at Sydney Location.

  • Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions, including certificate authorities (CAs), digital certificates, and cryptographic key management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide input into PKI solution design and architecture.
  • Configure and manage PKI components, such as certificate servers, certificate revocation lists (CRLs), and certificate lifecycle management systems.
  • Assist in troubleshooting PKI-related issues and provide support to resolve incidents and service requests.
  • Contribute to the optimization of PKI solutions for scalability, performance, and security, following industry best practices and organizational guidelines.

Key Skills:
  • Experience or knowledge in supporting Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions.
  • Familiarity with PKI concepts, protocols, and standards.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in designing or implementing in a Cloud environment such as Azure or AWS.
  • Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions.
  • Extensive experience as a subject matter expert with PKI products and platforms, such as Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS), Entrust, GlobalSign, or equivalent.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute effectively to project delivery.

Due to security clearance requirements for these roles, candidates must be Australian citizens with the ability to obtain a Baseline/NV1 Security clearance.
