About the role:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to research and evaluate strategic policies and initiatives.
• Implement management responses to operational and portfolio-related issues to meet government objectives and stakeholder needs.
• Prepare various documents including discussion papers, briefings, submissions, and reports.
• Consult with industry, community groups, government agencies, and internal stakeholders for policy development and legislative review.
• Participate in working groups, forums, and committees to contribute to strategic projects and initiatives.

About you:

• Demonstrated experience in project management, tender development, evaluation, and contract management.
• Experience in developing legislation and policy aligned with government priorities.
• Proficiency in research and analysis related to policy development and review.
• Ability to interpret and apply legislation effectively.
• Strong analytical skills with the capability to address policy issues and develop suitable options.
• Leadership abilities and a commitment to personal and team development.
• National Police Clearance (less than 6 months).
