Job description

Exciting projects require skilled candidates. Could this be you? Our client is currently seeking a Senior Project Development Officer to assist their busy team.

You will lead and support the development of critical infrastructure projects including Traffic, Road Safety, Cycling, Bridge, and Bus Priority initiatives. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of projects from inception to completion. You will be provided with comprehensive support to familiarise yourself with project specifics, procedures, and background.

Rate: candidates will be put forward at a rate of their choosing.
Hours: 38 hours/week
Start: 20/05/24
Location: East Perth
Duration: 6 months 
Type: temp casual contract
 
Candidates will thrive in this role is they have the following skillsets:

ESSENTIAL:
  • Technical Analysis
  • including Project Management skills
  • Capable to carry out report reviews and writing.
  • Capability to learn with a reasonable level of Computer literacy including, software proficiency (Xcel, Word, Microsoft Project packages).
DESIRABLE:
  • Willing to learn and work with the MRWA system of project management (BEARS, EPM etc.), procedures and software skillset support.
  • Good attitude as a team player with a high level of autonomy.
