Recruitment Process

Online Applications

Executive Level positions: Open from 20 February – 6 March, 2019 (5:00pm AEDT)
APS Level positions : Open from 28 February – 13 March, 2019 (5:00pm AEDT)

You will be required to respond to three written questions that relate to the competencies required for role/s you have applied for.

Application Assessment and Shortlisting

Applications will be assessed from late February to mid March, 2019

Telephone Interviews

Telephone interviews may be undertaken for some positions and will be conducted from mid March to early April, 2019

If you are progressed to this stage of the recruitment process, you will receive an invitation to participate in a telephone interview.

Panel Interviews

Executive Level positions: Early – mid April, 2019
APS Level positions: Late April – late May, 2019

If you are progressed to this stage of the recruitment process, you will be invited to attend a panel interview with the NDIS Commission. Work Sample Assessments may also be undertaken for some positions.

Reference Checking

Executive Level positions: Mid April, 2019
APS Level positions: May, 2019

Two work related references may be conducted. These may be completed online or verbally. You will be asked to include contact details for two referees (one of whom should be your current or most recent supervisor) in the online application.

Pre-Employment Checks

All candidates must be Australian Citizens and will need to complete a background check/s. Positions may require checks which include, but are not limited to a police records check, security clearance and/or a Working with Children and Vulnerable People check.

Offers and Onboarding

Offers are expected to commence from mid May, 2019 for some positions. All positions are expected to commence by 1 July, 2019.
