Location: Fremantle, WA
Contract Type: Full-Time, 12-Month temp contract (with potential extension)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate:
  • Certificate IV / Trade Certificate: $62.94/hour (flat rate)
  • Diploma / Tertiary Qualification: $79.46/hour (flat rate)
About the Client:
Our client is a key organisation responsible for managing civil and building infrastructure across Fremantle’s Inner Harbour. They are seeking a skilled Civil Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations and coordinate small to medium projects.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Civil Maintenance Superintendent, you will plan and coordinate both scheduled and reactive maintenance works. You’ll manage contractors, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage building and civil contractors for planned/reactive maintenance and major projects
  • Oversee procurement, documentation, and maintenance schedules
  • Assist in budget preparation, scheduling, and tender processes
  • Ensure works are delivered on time, within budget, and meet safety standards
  • Prepare and review Risk Management Plans and Job Safety Analyses
  • Update asset registers and ensure alignment with corporate plans
  • Coordinate works with other trades and manage SIMOPS
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Civil Trade Qualification or extensive experience in civil/building infrastructure
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in a relevant field
  • Experience in supervision, project management, and contract administration
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and safe work practices
  • Ability to scope, schedule, and manage medium-sized maintenance/construction projects
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and computer skills
  • Valid ‘C’ or ‘CA’ class driver’s licence (vehicle provided for site visits only)
