APS 4 Procurement Officer
  • $43.82 / Hourly / Ex Super
  • Deakin, ACT
  • 6-month contract (possible extension)
About the role
The role will be required to maintain a practical understanding of procurement and contracting functions and applying relevant legislative and policy guidance.
 
Duties
  • Undertaking research and analysis activities and drafting initial documentation to support simple to complex procurements.
  • Providing administrative support to the Procurement team.
  • Initiating drafting of procurement related documentation.
  • Entering, extracting and manipulating data to enable accurate Agency reporting.
  • Contributing to team planning activities and identifying opportunities for improvements
Key Experience  
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide advice and resolve any procurement related compliance or Essentials issues.
  • Delivering support and advice in relation to compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and Guidelines, Procurement Policy and procedures, including manage and deliver procurement related compliance reporting.
  • Maintaining appropriate records management
  • Support continuous improvements projects where required, including and not limited to, drafting of project documentation, registers etc
  • Assisting and undertaking procurement reporting and verification activities, and processing procurements through the financial management system.
  • Monitoring and progressing work area activities and achieving work area objectives
  • Providing administration assistance to the team and having good organisational skills.
  • Delivering support and advice in relation to compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and Guidelines, Procurement Policy and procedures, including manage and deliver procurement related compliance reporting.
