About our Client
Our Client is a not for profit superannuation organisation with over 25 years of history in supporting Australians to retire with security and dignity. Looking forward, more Australians than ever are preparing for retirement, and looking to their super to provide them financial security. In an environment of rapid regulatory and economic change, our client continues to help our super fund partners create a future where working Australians can retire better.

The Opportunity
In this role you will be looking into late payments and making contact with employers via outbound calls to ensure our members receive their entitled payments. The dedicated contact centre teams are responsible for collecting unpaid super entitlements and returning them to everyday Australians. This job is all about helping people get back their lost super. It is rewarding and particularly satisfying knowing that you are making a real difference to the retirement savings and future of everyday Australians.

About You
Our ideal candidates are professional, goal-oriented and effective communicators who can easily connect with people over the phone. You have a friendly and positive attitude, but also a strong drive and motivation. You are ready to take on a rewarding and challenging role in a supportive environment.
  • Great communication skills, including the ability to quickly establish rapport over the phone
  • Intermediate Excel and Word skills, and the ability to quickly adapt to new IT systems
  • Strong organisational skills to meet performance targets and manage own work
  • A strong team focus, consideration for others’ opinions, and a professional approach to support all IFS employees and clients
The following will give you an edge:
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics
  • Previous experience in debt collection or in a call centre environment prefered
  • Previous experience in meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Basic knowledge of the Superannuation industry
The Benefits
As a part of the team, you will benefit from:
  • A competitive salary package, including 12% super
  • Generous benefits, including above award leave entitlements
  • A fantastic and flexible team environment
  • A workplace that embraces diversity and puts our members’ best interest first, not profit
