  • 12-month contract (possible extension)

One of our largest clients is now seeking an EL1 Assistant Director Clinical Advice and Design to join there fast-growing team of talented individuals offering an attractive pay in Deakin.

About the role
The position will exercise a considerable degree of independence to engage in very complex problem solving and issues management within the branch. The position requires exercising sound decision-making and judgement to produce high level policy advice and operational support. The EL1 Assistant Director Clinical Advice and Design (Labour Hire) is required to coordinate and assume responsibility to undertake detailed or sensitive projects that may include performing varied activities involving many different and unrelated processes or methods that may impact on the strategic or operational outcomes that support the agency objectives.

Duties
  • Planning and conducting workshops and other events with key stakeholders including participants, their families and supporters, service providers, professional bodies and other stakeholders.
  • Using co-design methods that support the development of clinical and non-clinical assessments and health surveys.
  • Developing and implementing stakeholder communication plans that support codesign and engagement activities.
  • Writing clear concise reports that communicate research findings, conclusions and implications for policy and service design.
  • Providing evidence-informed advice for developing and reviewing policy and guidance for the access and planning pathways.
  • Working collaboratively with key stakeholders and advisory panels, reviewing research tools and products, delivering high quality strategic directions and insights.
  • Working collaboratively with other members of the Research and Evaluation Branch, meeting strategic priorities and objectives
Desired Experience  
  • Experience in the development or administration of clinical assessments
  • Experience managing large scale research programs
  • Qualitative research experience, including with people who have disability, Health or disability sector stakeholder engagement experience
  • Health professional qualification
  • Experience in workforce development or education
