DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Microsoft D365 Solution Architect/ tech lead to join our federal Government Client team. Microsoft D365 Solution Architect / Tech Lead role has been established to support a recently launched technology uplift program.
Role responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud application architectures, with a focus on Microsoft D365 technologies.
- Lead the development team to deliver a D365 CRM and Case Management solution including establishment of the team, delivery practices.
- Work with the Enterprise Architect, Product Owner and team to provide advice into co-design of the D365 technical solution.
- Oversee the migration of legacy and on-premises Dynamics systems into modern D365 cloud-native environments.
- Lead the architecture and execution of data migration from legacy systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with target system requirements.
- Develop high-level and detailed solution designs that align with enterprise architecture standards and support long-term sustainability.
- Champion best practices in modern cloud adoption, security, automation and DevOps.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance.
- Evaluate solution options and conduct impact analysis to balance functionality, service quality, and operational requirements.
- Contribute to the development and evolution of architectural governance processes, reusable patterns, and solution assets.
- Deep technical knowledge of D365 technologies, including Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Azure.
- Proven ability to lead D365 delivery teams and co-design solutions leveraging out-of-the-box capabilities.
- Proven experience providing architectural leadership across multiple delivery streams, ensuring consistent, high-quality solutions aligned with business and technical goals.
- Experience evaluating and recommending D365 and other cloud services to meet business and technical needs.
- Prior involvement in large-scale technology uplift or digital transformation initiatives.
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft D365 technologies.
- Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices in cloud environments.
