Job Title: N&I Facilities Operations Coordinator
Employer: DFP Recruitment client
Position Type: 12 month Casual Temporary Contract – ASAP Start
Pay Rate: $72.98 per hour + Super
Location: Perth, 6000
Role Overview:  This role manages daily operations and maintenance of building assets, leading teams to ensure compliance, safety, and performance. Responsibilities include budget planning, stakeholder liaison, and process improvement to drive cost-effective strategies and business enhancements.

Key Responsibilities; 
  • Management of the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the organisations building assets, systems and infrastructure.
  • Provides leadership direction, guidance and support to team members in the maintenance and repairs of facilities assets.
  • Oversee maintenance work programs including preventative and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure all work is completed in accordance with statutory compliance requirements.
  • Contributes to the strategic direction, planning and performance ensuring team members and contractors have clarity and understanding of expectations and standards.
  • Monitors Team and Contractors performance against KPIs and taking necessary action to improve performance as necessary.
  • Assists with the planning, preparation and reporting of operating budget and expenditure to the Technical Building Operations Manager.
  • Coordinates regular inspections of site buildings, equipment and plant.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Management of all team members including recruitment, training, development and performance management.
  • Process Invoices (receipt & incur) within delegation of authority.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and operational areas within the organisation to ensure facilities related works do not impact business critical operations.
  • Monitor and reviews processes and work practices; recommending changes with a view to improving systems and introduce best practice.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of cost-effective strategies.
  • Analyse and monitor trends to identify potential business improvement opportunities

 
Essential to be successful in this role:  
  • Up to 5 years Facilities Management Experience
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant industry standards and statutory regulation requirements in a facilities management environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage operational budgets.
  • Experience of implementing facilities maintenance improvement programs and projects.
  • Well developed leadership and management skills with the ability to engage and empower teams and individuals to deliver organisational requirements.
  • Proven experience in providing direction and leadership to both internal and external parties to ensure works are completed in a safe and controlled manner.
  • Demonstrated success and proven ability to drive and deliver cultural change.
  • Highly developed verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to resolve problems, negotiate and consult with a range of stakeholders and contractors.
  • Current valid NPC or ability to obtain one
