Our Queensland State Government is currently embarking on an ambitious Finance Modernisation Program, transitioning from SAP ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. This multi-year transformation will reshape how finance services are delivered, focusing on modern, streamlined solutions and improved customer self-service.
As such, we are currently seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support this transformation. You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful migration of legacy data into the new SAP S/4HANA environment, working across data extraction, cleansing, transformation and validation.

In this role, you will:
- Develop capability in the SAP Data Migration Cockpit and contribute to overall migration strategy.
- Provide insights and problem-solving support during SAP data migration planning and execution.
- Extract and transform data from legacy systems using SAP Data Services and related ETL tools.
- Coordinate and validate data accuracy, ensuring completeness during migration phases.
- Lead data cleansing activities, ensuring high data quality and resolving inconsistencies.
- Demonstrated experience with full-cycle data migration projects, including extraction, transformation, and validation.
- Expertise in data mapping, source system analysis, and integrating data across platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve complex data issues using defined defect management processes such as SAP Cloud ALM.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging diverse stakeholders and translating data insights clearly.
