Job description

Job Title: Senior Systems Analyst
Client: Federal Government
Contract Type: 12-Month Contract with Extension Possibility
Location: ACT, NSW, QLD
Eligibility: Australian Citizens Only
 
Primary Purpose of Position: The Senior Systems Analyst will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions within the Federal Government. With a solid background in developing, implementing, and operating IT systems, the Senior Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in the product development lifecycle. By optimizing systems, streamlining processes, and aligning with business objectives, the analyst ensures the Agency's efficient operation.

Key Skills Required:

  • Knowledge and experience of applications development methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
  • Providing expertise and technical knowledge in specialist areas across a range of programs or activities for the agency.
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying, analysing, isolating, and interpreting business needs (often conflicting) and generating user stories and requirements.
  • Experience working with information technologies and systems analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience in producing artifacts best suited for the products and projects.
  • Experience in cloud platforms like Azure or similar.
