Job description

Position: EL1 Strategic and Operations Reporting Analyst
Contract: 12-Month Contract
Location: Sydney, Australia
Client: Federal Government (Australian citizens only)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilise expert-level SQL and/or SAS skills to extract, manipulate, and analyse data.
  • Develop analytical assets including forecasting, predictive modeling, and text analysis using Python.
  • Utilize visualisation tools such as SAS Viya, Tableau, Qlikview, or similar to present data insights effectively.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver effective reporting solutions.
Key Skills Required:
  • Experience in Business Intelligence/Data arena.
  • Expert level SQL and/or SAS skills.
  • Demonstrable skills in Python building analytical assets.
  • Experience with visualisation tools such as SAS Viya, Tableau, Qlikview, or similar.
Desirable Skills:
  • Relevant analytics-related vendor certifications.
  • Knowledge of reporting objects such as hierarchies, prompts, parameters, filters, custom calculated items, and XML editing in SAS VA/Tableau.
  • Experience in release management.
