About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Systems Accountant to join our team on a 3–6-month contract. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in both accounting and ERP systems, who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys driving process improvements and system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support ERP system configuration, implementation, and optimisation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop design specifications
- Assist with testing, documentation, and deployment of system changes
- Analyse and improve financial processes across modules including GL, AP, AR, Assets, Procurement, Banking, and Budgeting
- Contribute to reporting and data analysis using tools such as Power BI, SQL, and Excel
- Participate in change management initiatives and automation projects
- Degree in Accounting and/or Information Systems (IS/IT)
- CPA or CA qualification highly regarded
- 6–10+ years of ERP systems experience (SAP preferred)
- Strong understanding of financial modules and processes
- Experience in system implementation and configuration
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Familiarity with reporting tools (Power BI, Hyperion, Quik Clicks, etc.)
- Knowledge of SQL, BI Desktop, and data warehouse concepts desirable
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and business case development
- Understanding of the system development lifecycle and testing methodologies
- Exposure to database methodology or programming is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Work on impactful projects with a collaborative team
