Contract Duration: 22nd September 2025 – 30th June 2026
Pay Rate: $750 - $800 per day + Super
We are seeking a senior leader to join the State Government People & Culture team. This role offers the opportunity to lead a small team while providing strategic oversight across payroll operations, people systems, and workforce reporting. You’ll manage vendor relationships, ensure compliance, and drive improvements while maintaining day-to-day oversight.

- Lead a team of 3, overseeing payroll governance, compliance, and operational frameworks.
- Manage HRIS / HCM systems (SAP, SuccessFactors, Cornerstone) and ensure data integrity.
- Deliver workforce reporting and analytics dashboards (Power BI preferred) to support business decisions.
- Engage with vendors and shared service providers to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
- Drive process improvements, system optimisation, and transformation initiatives.
- Provide guidance on sensitive payroll or vendor matters with sound judgement.
- Experienced in HR, payroll operations, or workforce analytics leadership.
- Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, governance, and HRIS / HCM systems.
- Skilled in reporting, analytics, and dashboard creation (Power BI preferred).
- Experience managing vendors or service providers in complex organisations.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Government or large organisational experience highly regarded.
