As the Water Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding water infrastructure and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. You’ll provide expert consultancy on water quality risk management, oversee preventative and reactive maintenance, and contribute to infrastructure projects that impact water systems.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Lead the development and implementation of Water Quality Management and Facility Water Safety Plans.
- Manage water quality risk assessments, environmental plans, and performance indicators.
- Provide expert advice on water testing, maintenance, and plumbing infrastructure.
- Oversee water-related infrastructure projects and hydraulic plan reviews.
- Coordinate timely responses to water quality issues and liaise with stakeholders.
- Maintain essential records and participate in strategic planning initiatives.
- Review and optimise risk management systems in alignment with client frameworks.
- Conduct internal audits and investigations into non-compliance with standards.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and performance reporting.
- Provide technical and legislative advice to executives and stakeholders.
- Produce regular water quality reports for internal and external audiences.
- Uphold our clients Core Values and comply with relevant legislation and policies.
- Perform other duties as directed.
Essential Criteria
- Proven experience in potable/drinking water quality and safety management.
- Strong background in water quality operations within complex organisations.
- Expertise in regulatory compliance, risk management, and performance monitoring.
- Hands-on experience with water testing and interpreting results.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant standards, codes, and legislation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- High-level analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
- Understanding of facilities management in healthcare settings.
