Level 4 – Workforce Project Support Officer  
Rate: $49.17 per hour + super (equivalent to $95,782 per annum)
Duration: 6 Months  
Hours: Full-Time 
Start: Immediate 

Location: Perth CBD - Primarily Office-Based (Ad hoc WFH available) 
Type: Temporary Casual Contract (no leave entitlements – casual loading included in rate)  

The Opportunity 
Our client is also seeking a Level 4 Workforce Project Support Officer to assist in the delivery of workforce and HR-related projects within the People and Culture Directorate. 
 
This role supports project implementation and policy development activities under direction. It is ideal for someone with HR experience who is ready to broaden their exposure to project-based work in a structured government environment. 
 
You will contribute to meaningful workforce initiatives that enhance organisational capability and employee experience. 

Key Responsibilities  
  • Support the coordination and implementation of HR and workforce projects 
  • Assist with drafting project documentation, reports and briefing materials 
  • Contribute to research and data gathering to inform policy development 
  • Assist in the preparation and updating of HR policy documentation 
  • Provide administrative and coordination support for project activities 
  • Maintain project registers, action logs and documentation libraries 
  • Assist with stakeholder communications and information sharing 
  • Monitor timelines and escalate risks or issues to senior officers 
  • Support the delivery of training or information sessions 
  • Ensure documentation complies with departmental standards and procedures 
About You 
  • Experience working within HR, Corporate Services or policy environments 
  • Exposure to project coordination or continuous improvement initiatives 
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies under guidance 
  • Strong organisational and documentation skills 
  • Good written communication and stakeholder liaison skills 
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines 
 Pre-employment Requirements 
Full-working rights within Australia 
Current National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
