Our State Government client is looking for an experienced Senior Administration Officer to join their team for an 8-week assignment.
Providing high level and confidential support to the Executive Director and the team, you will appreciate the importance of timely, accurate and effective support within a demanding role, be forward thinking and be responsive to an ever changing environment. Experience within a similarly demanding role is essential as you will be expected to hit the ground running.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Diary management; proactively manage conflicting calendar priorities
- Manage emails; responding, escalating and allocating emails as required
- Prepare, maintain and review documentation and requests related to financial, human and other assets
- Support effective records management through performing quality control checks, document tracking, reporting and advising team members of correct processes to build record keeping capability within the team
- Support the secretariat functions including proofing, printing and administrative support in delivering in-person events
- Prepare and reconcile monthly and ad hoc expenditure related to the secretariat tasks
- Undertake administration tasks including booking travel, management of corporate expenses, preparation of basic documentation, proofing and reviewing documents and managing internal reporting requests as required
- A proactive approach to problem solving
- The ability to manage sensitive and time critical administrative and reporting functions
- The ability to work under pressure; working to deadlines and manage changing priorities
- Strong integrity and discretion in handling matters of a sensitive nature
- High level communication and influencing skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to foster and maintain positive and professional relationships
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills will be highly regarded
