We are currently seeking an experienced Recruitment and Engagement Officer to join a highly regarded State Government department in Brisbane’s CBD. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with strong end-to-end recruitment experience to contribute to a busy team that manages high-volume hiring for both blue- and white-collar roles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of contemporary and inclusive recruitment processes aligned with the Department’s workforce objectives.
- Provide accurate and timely advice to hiring managers and selection panels on relevant recruitment policies, directives, and legislation.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment tasks including advertising, shortlisting, scheduling interviews, onboarding, and maintaining HR documentation.
- Deliver a high level of candidate care and promote the Department as an employer of choice.
- Assist in gathering, analysing and reporting on recruitment-related data.
- Coordinate onboarding and induction events, including maintaining training records.
- Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in high-volume recruitment and candidate engagement.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
Highly Desirable:
- Previous experience using Springboard recruitment platform.
- Adaptability in dynamic and high-pressure environments.
