Job description

We are looking for Administrators/ Data Collection Officers for one of our State Government clients. You will require a proven background in Data Entry/Customer Service or recent planning graduate to be successful for this role and be able to commence ASAP.   The contract is initially for 3 to 6 months with a likely extension until later on in 2023.

About the role:

This job requires the Data Collection Officers to visit commercial and industrial premises within the Perth Region for the purposes of information and data capture. You will be deployed in the field and capture data using company tablets to update fields such as trade names, addresses, land use classification, floor space and employment based observations. The data will be loaded onto the tablet by the project’s administrators.

To be successful in this role the applicant must meet the below:
  • Access to public transport or vehicle – mileage and travel costs claimable
  • A mobile phone with good coverage within the Perth Region
  • High level of customer service skills and experience
  • Good Communication skills
  • High attention to detail and advanced computer skills
  • Availability between 8:30am-4:30pm Monday to Friday
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously in a range of working environments
  • Be neatly presented at all times
  • Have an understanding of town planning (desirable)
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
  • Covid-19 vaccination evidence is required
