Job description

An experienced administrator is urgently needed for this role within a busy State Government Department.
Starting ASAP, this contract role withh go through till the end of July, with the possibility of an extension. This is a part time role, working 4 days per week and is based in Ipswich.
 
The ideal candidate for this role is a results-driven administrator with experience in the same or similar role.

 

Key responsibilities include:


• Providing administrative and business support to the Team with tasks such as managing the office’s shared mailbox, preparing correspondence, data entry, diary management, travel bookings, basic finance and other administration related tasks.

• Engaging with a range of stakeholders, representing the division and executive in a helpful, professional, and respectful manner.

 

The ideal candidate will have:


• Experience in an administration role.

• High-level written and oral communication skills.

• Strong computer skills including intermediate – advanced Microsoft Office.

• Commitment to the end of the assignment.

• Ability to adapt quickly to new systems.
