APS6 Digital Marketing Project Officer
DFP Recruitment is a preferred supplier of choice to Federal Government departments and agencies. I am partnered with a large Federal Government Agency to recruit an APS6 Project Team Leader, working within the Corporate Systems directorate, based in Canberra.
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced APS6 Digital Marketing Project Officer to contribute to the planning and delivery of a range strategic and accessible projects including digital marketing campaigns via SMS, email and subscriber-based newsletters while also looking for opportunities to build consistency and quality across the Agency’s digital marketing products.
The initial contract term is for 12 months, working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. This role can be based at any client site location Nationally with flexible and hybrid work arrangements available. You must hold Australian Citizenship at the time of applying.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supporting improvements to the Agency’s digital marketing products, with a focus on accessibility and impact of direct communications.
- Conduct baseline evaluations of digital marketing products and support continuous improvements, informed by monitoring and reporting across digital platforms.
- Support planning and delivery of email campaigns to expand the digital marketing product offer, retain IP warmth, and support increased understanding of Scheme reform and broader behaviour change campaigns.
- Work with colleagues across the Division to coordinate marketing communications across various channels.
- Supporting the improvement of processes, practices and governance.
- Support peers’ growth in digital marketing capability.
About you:
You are an excellent communicator with string interpersonal and stakeholder management skills and have proven experience in the delivery of high-quality email marketing campaigns, demonstrating:
- Marketing campaign best practice including digital (email and SMS) marketing.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) email and mobile studio, capability and best practice.
- Understanding and ability to apply digital accessibility standards in the context of direct digital communications.
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications or related disciplines will be highly regarded.
