We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Superintendent’s Representative to support the delivery of large-scale and complex infrastructure projects. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising contracts and ensuring compliance with project delivery frameworks, while working closely with contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and apply contractual obligations honestly and fairly in accordance with the terms of construction and engineering contracts.
- Provide day-to-day contract supervision including:
- Conducting regular on-site inspections to monitor construction progress.
- Coordinating and documenting site meetings following standard procedures.
- Issuing variation orders and managing contractor claims.
- Responding to Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Ensuring all Building Act compliance inspections are undertaken and documented accurately.
- Offer high-level advice to support the Superintendent with dispute resolution and contract administration.
- Apply and adhere to departmental systems and QBuild procedures throughout all contract phases.
- Maintain post-contract performance evaluation records for the Pre-Qualified Contractor Register.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders regarding time, cost, and quality concerns.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Business Unit's Quality Assurance system.
- Uphold workplace health and safety and employment equity principles during project delivery.
About You:
- Strong working knowledge of contract administration processes, particularly those related to traditional construction contracts.
- Demonstrated experience supervising construction or engineering contracts, ideally on behalf of government entities.
- Familiarity with QBuild and government contract frameworks will be highly regarded.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing timelines and resolving issues.
