APS4 Administrative Support Officer
Education & Communications | 3-Month Contract | Woden, ACT


We are currently seeking a highly organised APS4 Administrative Support Officer for a full-time, on-site 3-month contract based in Woden, ACT.  This role will be working with the Education and Communications team assisting the coordination and delivery of training activities and learning resources for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander corporations. This role will be on-site in Woden working from 8am - 4pm Monday - Friday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage stock control and distribution of educational materials
  • Enter and process data relating to learning activities
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage both online and in-person training
  • Liaise with and coordinate facilitators, venues, catering and logistics
  • Procure and manage contracts for training services
  • Assist with participant registrations, including travel bookings and post-event feedback
  • Set up webinars and virtual workshops
  • Maintain accurate electronic records (RSVPs, invitations, and documentation)
About You

We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running:
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with government procurement processes (essential)
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Confident with electronic filing systems and admin workflows
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven skills in customer service and data entry
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity when engaging with First Nations peoples and organisations
