  • Initial contract until September 2022 with the possibility of extension
  • $43.89 - $48.21per hour + super
Our Federal Government Client is responsible works with people with disability, providers, and the community to deliver nationally consistent, responsive, and effective regulation of service providers.
The role
Our client is seeking an APS4 and APS5 Registration Officer to help innovative initiatives and contribute to change and to the improvement in quality and efficiency within our clients Registration systems.
 
The APS4 Registration Officer will report to a Team Leader, and be responsible for:
  • Research, assessment, and analysis of applications for registration from NDIS providers
  • Development of minutes and briefs
  • Monitoring of provider compliance with the conditions of registration
  • Engagement with NDIS providers and other stakeholders via telephone and email.
To be successful as an APS4 Registration Officer you will need:
  • Complete assessments and tasks within agreed timeframes, monitor own progress and provide assistance as required.
  • Participate in strategic planning and decision making within the team, contribute new ideas, identify risks, and identify opportunities for improvements or efficiencies.
  • Maintain a well-developed understanding of relevant legislation and policy frameworks and apply this understanding to the registration process.
  • Effectively manager stakeholder relationships, and work collaboratively with others to resolve issues.
The APS5 Registration Officer will report to a Team Leader, and be responsible for:
  • Research, assessment, and analysis of applications for registration from NDIS providers
  • Development of minutes and briefs
  • Monitoring of provider compliance with the conditions of registration
  • Engagement with NDIS providers and other stakeholders via telephone and email.
To be successful for APS5 Registration Officer you will need:
  • The ability to undertake work in a systematic and objective way and critically analyse and assess the suitability of providers to recommend decisions.
  • Maintain a well-developed understanding of relevant legislation and policy frameworks and apply this understanding to the registration process.
  • Effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support and mentor staff within a small team environment to achieve goals by providing guidance and quality assurance for the registration process. 
To be eligible it is essential that applicants hold Australian Citizenship and will undergo a police background check prior to commencement.
