 APS 6 Project Officer
  • $60.26/Hourly (excluding super)  
  • Canberra
  • Contract (12-months, possible extension)
  • 1st July Start Date
About the role
The APS6 Project Officer will provide detailed technical, professional, policy, operational support and advice in relation to complex problems relating to fraud and other integrity issues that may affect the agency. It will be required to coordinate and assist in the strategic planning, program and project management and policy development.

Duties
  • Support the development and implementation of project plans and schedules in accordance with the Agency’s project management framework and considering project interdependencies.
  • Providing specialist advice and technical expertise to staff and stakeholders.
  • Performing independent research work and analysis including the preparation of draft reports on relevant project activities.
  • Completing regular project reporting including status updates and exception reports.
  • Completing written material including business cases, plans, executive briefs and corporate documentation.
  • Monitoring project budgets, review and report on expenditure and assist with procurement and contract management.
  • Identifying, assessing, managing, escalating, reporting and monitoring project risks, issues and benefits, including developing treatment strategies.
  • Contributing to project quality management to ensure that project deliverables are fit for purpose and meet client needs.
About you 
  • Previous Project Officer experience.
