Job description

DFP Perth are seeking an experienced document controller for a Project Support Officer position on a temporary casual contract with a State Government agency based in Perth CBD and Balcatta.  

Job Title: Project Support Officer (Document Control) 

Hourly Rate: $45.00 per hour + Superannuation (fixed) 

Length of Assignment: 19 weeks – Starting on 27/05/2024 - with guaranteed extension if assignment goes well
 
Type: Temporary casual contract (no leave entitlements – casual loading included in rate) 

Location: Perth CBD and Balcatta 

Role Description: 
As a Project Support Officer, you will be responsible for the document control and information management of all records relating to the assigned project.  
The duties include: 
  • Maintaining critical project records. 
  • Serving as the Document Controller. 
  • Assisting in coordinating project reports, meetings, and documenting minutes. 
  • Managing site office supplies. 
  • Providing business support to the project team. 
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Project Director. 
  • Booking air travel. 
Essential Criteria: 
  • Proficiency in records management practices and use of computerized records management systems. 
  • Strong written communication skills, including report preparation and correspondence. 
  • Experience providing project administration support in various contexts. 
  • Familiarity with TRIM/Content Manager. 
  • Proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Teams. 
  • Current National Police Clearance (or able to obtain if successful).  
  • White card. 
  • Current Driver’s License.
