We are seeking experienced APS4 Administration Support Officers for a Federal Government department, located in Greenway ACT. The contract is up to 12 months which includes paid leave and 15.4% superannuation.
APS4 Administration Support Officers provide administrative and operational support to the business teams, working under the support and general direction of senior staff.

APS4 Administration Support Officers provide administrative and operational support to the business teams, working under the support and general direction of senior staff.

- provide administrative support to the team and/or work area
- provide information and draft replies to straightforward queries about procedures, guidelines and policies
- provide advice and procedural guidance to staff and stakeholders on routine matters
- assist in the coordination of responses to requests for information about local operations and corporate reporting requests
- ensure compliance in work area with established departmental procedures and relevant frameworks
- coordinate the provision of building property services, information technology, telephony services, security, asset and equipment maintenance and liaise with service providers
- build rapport and maintain stakeholder relationships
- assist in drafting documentation for review by senior staff
- maintain and use databases to collate and present data and contribute to the development of reports
- coordinate stationery and equipment requirements and the distribution of stores or supplies.
- assist with the coordination of information technology and telephony services
- check the work of administrative staff to monitor accuracy and quality of work against established performance standards
- participate in quality assurance activities and check adherence with relevant procedures and legislation
- manage time and plan own workload against performance expectations and apply attention to detail
- use appropriate judgement, analysis and problem solving skills
- communicate in an effective way
- build rapport and maintain stakeholder relationships
- display relevant financial and computer literacy skills
- apply established criteria and make accurate evidence-based decisions
- work in and adapt to a changing environment
