The APS4 Business Support Officers will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to communicate with and provide advice on a range of matters to resolve moderately complex enquiries.

About the role
The APS4 Business Support Officers will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to communicate with and provide advice on a range of matters to resolve moderately complex enquiries.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Supporting the Leadership Team by managing and collating data in reports and dashboards to inform strategic and operational planning.
- Supporting staff to deliver exemplary customer service to achieve the best outcomes for participants.
- Monitoring and actioning correspondence (email) and assigning and actioning internal work items within service standards.
- Effectively managing and reporting on a portfolio of work within given timeframes.
- Maintenance of organisational charts, distribution lists, templates, and records management as required.
- Investigation, research, analysis, administrative and project support for the Leadership Team and State Manager’s office
To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a Government department and will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Experience in office duties including coordination of the use of office facilities.
- An understanding of how to work collaboratively to support the delivery of consistent, quality client services.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with well-developed interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work flexibility within a team and to communicate effectively with people at all levels to ensure the smooth, efficient and on time operation of the office.
- A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office software specifically with Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint – particularly the management of multiple diaries.
- It is desirable that applicants have an understanding of or lived experience in the field of disability.
