Job description

The Opportunity

On behalf of a Federal Government Agency based in Midland, WA, we are looking for an APS4 Planner. This is a 6-month assignment. The role will be paying $43.82 per hour plus super.

The role will provide operational and administrative support that is informed and directed by sound knowledge and undertakes some research and analysis activities. You will have direct contract with internal and external stakeholders and will provide a advice on a range of service delivery matters.

Responsibilities include:
  • Gathering information from participants and partners over the phone or in person, to enable high-quality planning and evidence-based decision-making.
  • Use a range of policies, guidance and legislation to make decisions
  • Working closely with participants and representatives to identify current and future supports, and informal, mainstream, and community support options to achieve outcomes.
  • Resolving issues and complaints in relation to plans.
  • Completing administrative and data entry tasks
  • Contributing to the achievement of key performance indicators
To be considered you will demonstrate:
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong engagement with multiple stakeholders.
  • Organisation and time management.
  • Experience in the disability, health or aged care sectors
  • Remain flexible in changing environment
