Job description

  • $43.82 per hour + super
Out Federal Government Client is currently seeking multiple APS4 Verification Support Officers to join their Penrith team with service delivery implementation and enhancement.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Undertake appropriate case management research, using that research to inform whether non-compliance or fraud exists.
  • Conduct outbound call campaigns to participants, their representatives and providers to enquire about and verify information.
  • Identify patterns, trends or insights to analyse issues from different perspectives and draw sound conclusions from available data and information.
  • Conduct analysis and assessment of information gathered in collaboration with compliance activities and unpacking activities that pose fraudulent concerns.
  • Manage secure and sensitive data.
  • Identify areas for process improvement opportunities, contributing to team activities and providing feedback
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Be curious and inquisitive, with well-developed judgment and discretion, and a strong commitment to integrity and accountability.
  • The ability to interpret and apply regulatory legislation.
  • Use organisational and time management skills, including the ability to cope with high volumes of work, meeting critical deadlines while handling sensitive issues using appropriate judgement.
  • Demonstrated experience of working with people in the health and disability sector would be advantageous.
