We are partnering with a well‑established and highly regarded South Australian law firm to recruit an experienced Legal Assistant / Legal Administrator to support a busy Family Law practice.

About the role
Reporting to senior legal professionals, you will play a key role in ensuring matters progress smoothly and clients are supported with care and professionalism. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, formatting and proofreading legal documents and correspondence
- Diary management and coordination
- File management, including electronic filing and document control
- Liaising with clients and providing high‑quality administrative support
- Assisting with billing and general practice administration
- Working collaboratively within the team and providing reception cover when required
About you
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience in legal administration within family law
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and pride in accurate document production
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, professional, and “can‑do” approach
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Experience using a legal practice management system (e.g. Affinity or similar)
