Job description

We are currently seeking a number of highly organised and motivated APS5 and APS6 Grants Assessors to assist with a large Federal Government Grant over a 5 week assignment. 

The team
The Australian Government is providing $200 million for this program, which will provide funding for local solutions and improvements that address participation barriers faced by women and girls. 

Ideally, you will possess the following skills and experience: 
  • Grant assessment experience within Government environment
  • Demonstrated analysis, evaluation, and problem-solving skills
  • Sound judgement, ability to think strategically, identify issues and escalate potential risks
  • Experience utilising the whole of government grant system known as GPS
  • Recent experience assessing capital works and infrastructure grants is desirable, but not mandatory
You will need experience working in a similiar environment. You will be highly organised, with excellent attention to detail. You will also need to be an Australian Citizen with a current police check.  A baseline security clearance is highly desirable. 

These roles will commence from mid-September with interviews to commence immediately. Assignments are through to October 2024 with view to extension. These positions are full-time business hours, offering $50 per hour - $60 per hour based on experience.  Positions are available as 100% WFH roles, however applicants will need to attend a Capital City office to collect laptop items and complete induction.
