Our client is currently seeking an APS5 Business Analyst to join the team within a Federal Government Agency based in the Darwin CBD.
The Data, Analytics, Compliance and Sustainability Team contributes to the work of the Branch by undertaking remediation activities to known problems. Problems range from data quality issues impacting on front line operations or participants; sustainability problems impacting the quality of participant’s plans and compliance problems resulting in the misspending of plan funds

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Receiving and allocating work packages to team members.
- Providing support to team members and peers through collaboration and clear communication.
- Monitoring and collating data and identifying and prioritising business demands.
- Supporting cross team learning and development.
- Analysing and reporting on high level data, including interpreting data, analysing the results and determining root cause analysis of how these data issues occur.
- Supporting the creation and use of reporting practices to track team performance and other metrics on data quality problems.
- Monitoring high quality team performance in consultation with the Assistant Director.
- Undertaking data remediation activities, including development of activities to remediate new or emerging problems.
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Applies judgement, intelligence and common sense.

- Effectively manages time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently.
