Job description

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced APS5 Officer to join the Procurement Team within a Federal Government Agency based in Geelong on a 12-month assignment with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities Include;
  • Provide administrative support to the procurement team, managing confidential and sensitive information.
  • Provide procurement advice and support
  • Develop procurement documentation and collate and package candidate's resumes for assessment
  • Draft correspondence and reports, including emails and letters.
  • Maintain a shared database
  • Raise contracts and purchase orders
About You

You will be resilient and adaptable as the role operates in a fast-paced and changing environment.

In addition, you will be able to demonstrate the following -
  • Previous experience working in Federal, State or Local Government
  • Understanding of the MS Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated experience managing high volume requests and ability to multitask.
  • Previous experience in procurement or finance business systems would be desirable
