Job description

Business Support Officer
 
We are actively seeking multiple Business Support Officers for a state Government client located in Perth CBD. The roles are initially 6 months with the possibility of extension for the right candidates. Initially, the rate will be $41.33/hr + Super and on-site training will be provided.
 
The main responsibilities of these roles include but are not limited to;
  • Support the internal team with processing emails and telephone calls.
  • Liaise with multiple Government departments, utility companies and customer information centres.
  • Maintaining and updating the company database and pick up new systems quickly.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.
  • Work a 24/7 shift-based roster (some nights included).
  • Resolve issues that arise and coordinate internal/ external resources to do so.
 
The successful candidates will have the following skill set; 
  • Work organisation with the ability to meet work schedules and deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task and deal with conflicting priorities.
  • Good written communication.
  • Experience dealing with multiple reporting / line managers.
  • Have good knowledge of Perth suburb locations and able to read maps.
