Job Title: Communications Manager
Employer: DFP Recruitment client
Position Type: 6 month Casual Temporary Contract
Pay Rate: Competitive
Location: East Perth, WA 6004
Role Overview:  As a Communication Manager, you will develop and execute communication strategies, manage stakeholder expectations, collaborate with teams, ensure compliance, maintain work plans, oversee project communications, and address issues and risks.

Key Responsibilities;
  • Develop a communication strategy and plan/s that align to the change management strategy and effectively managing all aspects of change and communication activities which are introduced by the program to all impacted parties
  • Develop a set of actionable and targeted communication implementation plans aligned to the projects strategy to mitigate or address any gaps
  • Manage stakeholders’ expectations and ensure timely, and tailored communication occurs, through coordinating key stakeholders, quality assuring mediums and content and providing advice to the project, business leads and sponsor on best practice or requirements based on stakeholder analysis
  • Collaborate with the Change Manager, Project Manager and Business Teams to integrate communication activities into the overall project, budget and Business schedules
  • Comply with departmental change methodology framework and recommended toolsets
  • Develop and maintain a detailed work plan and schedule to ensure deliverables are met within agreed timeframes
  • Manage projects’ communications to ensure schedule remains on track and quality of deliverables meets project and stakeholder standards
  • Identify, report and manage communication issues/risks to resolution
 
 
Essential to be successful in this role:  
  • Experience in identifying, planning and managing the business communication requirements for a large project and managing communication activities to the agreed quality, aligned to project timeframes and budgets
  • Experience in providing communication reports and measurement metrics
  • Experience in influencing stakeholders to ensure engagement, participation and adoption of new systems, business tools and processes etc
  • Ability to meet specified timelines under limited direction
  • Proposed personnel must have experience of three years at a minimum in managing business communication within a technology context for diverse user groups
  • Must have experience Influencing stakeholders to ensure engagement, participation and adoption of new systems, business processes and tools
  • Must have experience developing and execute a communication strategy and plan that aligns to the Change management strategy
  • Experience in developing measurement metrics for the communication to track and report on effectiveness
  • Current valid NPC or ability to obtain one
