  • 12-month contract with possibility of extension
  • $58 - $65 per hour + super

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Investigating system and vendor issues, providing subject matter expertise and advice to the Incident Management team and vendors.
  • Provide the coordination and support to ensure an Federal Governments operations are compliant with the assurance and governance processes for policy, security, clinical safety, and design; monitoring progress, gathering information to produce reports and other key documentation.
  • Obtaining and applying an appropriate level of technical knowledge of the record system and other systems connecting to the Federal Governments Health Infrastructure.
  • Providing advice to design teams and project managers on functionality that will have an impact to the operation of the Federal Governments record system and connecting systems. Providing subject matter expertise in the integration of Vendor systems and software.
  • Responsible for implementing work plans, setting tasks and priorities and facilitating resolution of issues and incidents.
  • Coordinate and provide support to monitor, track and report on the status of operational deliverables to ensure schedules, cost and quality metrics are in line with approved project plans.
  • Develop, maintain and update a knowledge base of non-conformance incidents in the production environment and the findings from their investigation.
  • Liaise with contracted service providers to obtain clinical documents for review and investigation of system issues identified through analysis of production data.
  • Research, anticipate and analyse activities to identify business needs, particularly those that may be conflicting. Manage and negotiate resolutions to complex or sensitive issues or use judgement to escalate.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve operations, work area and agency goals; anticipating and responding to their needs and expectations around tasks.
You will have:
  • Appropriate qualifications or experience in a relevant discipline desirable. Organisational skills, including the ability to manage multiple competing tasks.
  • Experience working within a complex business service delivery environment.
  • Strong skills in process improvement and writing technical documentations
  • A demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally.
  • An understanding of business and information technology.
  • Experience managing issues with significant impact to end users.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to perform independent research work and analysis including the preparation of draft reports on relevant activities, design or milestones
