EDUCATIONAL REPORTING COORDINATOR

DFP Recruitment is urgently seeking an experienced educational Reporting Coordinator to join a State Government Department.
 
The Education Reporting Coordinator is responsible for working and engaging closely with stakeholders and partners in formulating, reporting, and delivering high quality business analytics, insights, and trend analysis data to drive consistency in planning and educational implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collate, review, and analyse data from diverse sources and multiple partners, to support the development and implementation of the Service Delivery Plan.
  • Create and maintain value adding business analytics on performance that are focused on developing the capability to provide actionable and impact business insights to stakeholders.
  • Analyse and present findings and benchmarks for the leadership to secure leadership engagement and sponsorship in delivery efficiencies improvements and inform stakeholders of new and emerging priorities and information on state-wide delivery issues.
  • Combine functional and business analytics with a strong technical expertise of reporting systems to drive process and system efficiencies/best practices, promote data integrity and ensure delivery of accurate reporting of data to management.
  • Create dashboards and reporting tools to measure engagement, delivery outcomes and delivery needs and report on key performance indicators to assess outcomes that feed into business efficiencies improvements and deliver recommendations and insights that enable business decision making.
  • Leverage outcomes from the Service Delivery Plan to analyse trends at a local level, identify opportunities for scale or benchmark, and identify risks and tension points.
  • Develop, analyse, and review annual service delivery business processes, procedures, and work instructions, including systems and applications, to identify process gaps and to enable development of improvement strategies and projects, designing new business models, streamlining, and reengineering existing business processes, and providing support for change.
  • Work with the Line Manager to develop meaningful performance development and review plans.
KEY CHALLENGES
  • Working collaboratively with partners and staff to ensure that information and data is supplied in a timely manner, correct and accurately detailed.
  • Identifying and defining appropriate data and measurements that support decision making.
  • Providing efficient and effective high-level support within a new/high volume work area requiring the coordination of information from a variety of sources.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge, and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating dashboards and reporting tools that measure engagement, delivery outcomes and delivery needs.
  • High level understanding of Power Bi, Dax and fluent in SQL query design.
