This Government body works with people with disability, providers, and the community to deliver nationally consistent, responsive, and effective regulation of service providers. About the Role:

As an EL1 Assistant Director Strategy, you will undertake work of high complexity with strategic, political, and operational significance. Your role will be pivotal in analyzing and developing insights that contribute to the formulation of strategies, policies, priorities, and operational practices

Role Responsibilities
:
  • Conduct structured analysis and provide strategic recommendations for key projects.
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis, including advanced modelling using Microsoft Excel.
  • Create and present materials for senior stakeholders, including the Minister, Board, and Executive Leadership Team.
  • Facilitate discussions and present recommendations to various stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Develop actionable plans and ensure stakeholder alignment for successful implementation.
  • Produce content to support change management, including policy papers and guidance materials.
  • Collaborate with different business areas to address problems, explore options, and drive agency-wide priorities.
Skills required:
  • Proven experience in strategy development
  • Track record of contributing significantly to strategic projects.
  • Ability to navigate complex, cross-functional environments with resilience.
  • Experience working in complex cross-functional teams
  • Established personal toolkit for managing organisational complexity and ambiguity effectively.
  • High emotional intelligence for effective stakeholder and leadership engagement.
