Job description

We are seeking an experienced ASO3 Executive Assistant to join our State Government client based in the Adelaide CBD.

Key Duties
  • Manage the Regional Director’s diary, appointments, meetings, travel and flow of briefings.
  • Prepare agendas, minutes, correspondence, memos, cabinet submissions and follow-up documentation.
  • Provide HR administrative support including staff files, audits, recruitment processes and salary records.
  • Deliver general administrative services such as word processing, spreadsheets, routine correspondence and phone enquiries.
  • Assist with financial processing, reporting, expenditure monitoring, budget preparation and grant documentation.
  • Liaise and negotiate with agency staff and external stakeholders on confidential matters.
  • Maintain effective filing, recordkeeping and correspondence systems.
  • Support committees through agenda preparation, minute taking and monitoring follow-up actions.
  • Review office systems and procedures, recommending improvements.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy workplace by reporting incidents, hazards and complying with WHS requirements.

Role Requirements

  • A current Working with Children’s check
  • A Police Check that is valid within 6 months
  • Experience within the State Government
  • At least 1 year experience as an Executive Assistant
