Job description

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support our client’s incoming CEO.

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a senior executive in a high-profile organisation, providing both professional and personal assistance during a key transition period.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will provide high-level executive and personal assistant support, with a strong focus on communication, coordination and day-to-day organisation. A key element of this role is supporting the CEO as he settles into Adelaide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive executive and personal assistant support
  • Manage diaries, meetings, travel arrangements and correspondence
  • Act as a key point of contact between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders
  • Assist with onboarding, relocation support and day-to-day coordination
  • Support verbal and written communication in Japanese where required
  • Ensure confidentiality, professionalism and discretion at all times
About You
  • Fluent in Japanese (verbal essential; written strongly preferred)
  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or Senior Personal Assistant
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
  • Confident communicator, culturally aware and adaptable
  • Professional, discreet and comfortable supporting senior leadership
  • Available to commence in January 2026 for a full-time, 3-month assignment
Please note: this role does not require formal translation services; however, strong Japanese comprehension is essential to effectively support the CEO.
