Job description

A permanent opportunity has become available for a Field Service Technician to join a global organization specialising in home appliances. 

This organization has established an exceptional reputation for delivering high-quality products and outstanding service and has placed itself at the forefront of the Australian and NZ Markets.
 
We are hiring for multiple positions in a variety of locations from the Gold Coast in the south to the Sunshine Coast in the north.

This role will carry out quality service repairs at the customer’s premises or in the workshop.

Your responsibilities would include:
  • Ensure all appliance, repair information and parts usage is documented
  • Working in collaboration with the call planner to optimise work load
  • Maintain order and cleanliness of van and ensure stock is up to date
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Management and resolution of customer concerns
  • Ensure all OH&S policies and procedures are adhered to and attend training as required 
To be considered for this position you will demonstrate the following capabilities:
  • Current Disconnect/Reconnect licence or full electrical licence
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • A sound technical knowledge of domestic appliances incorporating the ability to diagnose and rectify faults through effective problem solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • A genuine enjoyment of meeting and interacting with new customers
  • Gas and refrigeration license highly regarded

This role will be a full-time permanent position commencing ASAP. To be successful for this role you will undergo full background and licence checks.
