Master Scheduler
 
Initial 12 months contract
Location – Canberra
Hybrid work arrangement
 
DFP Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Master Scheduler on behalf of our client. This role is critical to managing and optimising scheduling processes across multiple projects, ensuring efficiency, alignment, and timely delivery in a dynamic environment.
 
 
Primary purpose of the role 
  • Develop and maintain a master Program schedule that aligns with organisational priorities and resource availability.
  • Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate planning and execution of project timelines.
  • Utilise scheduling software to track project progress. 
  • Implement best practice in scheduling methodology to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular schedule reviews and updates, communicating changes to stakeholders effectively.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving project workflows and timelines.
 
SKILLS
  • Knowledge of program management processes and procedures, particularly the ability to run and administer third party application systems designed to support the PMO.
  • Proven abilities and experience in the development of detailed, complex program schedules, delivery of training and processes to support the use of established schedules.
  • Relevant qualifications and experience such as PRINCE2, Managing Successful Programmes (MSP).
  • Practical experience working with technical teams delivering digital systems, and reporting to senior stakeholders.
